CHINARTE develops a High Quality Martial Arts and TCM Teaching

CHINARTE is a Martial Arts and a Traditional Chinese Medicine College that among several activities, spreads out and promotes the teaching of Luohan Qigong (Choy Lee Fut System), as well as the teaching of the Authentic Yang Tai Chi Chuan. We are at the North of Portugal, in Viana do Castelo, a typical Northern Portuguese town, known by its peculiar traditions. It was the result of a life dream of the International Master Nelson Barroso, who has dedicated more than 30 years of his life to the Martial Arts.
Sifu Nelson Barroso is a Wing Sing Tong International Master and one of the few Inner Chamber Disciples of Great Master Chen Yong Fa, the Keeper of the Choy Lee Fut System (Popular Republic of China).
CHINARTE has as main aim the personal and professional enrichment of their students.

Who Likes Come, Who Loves Will Return

Once more CHINARTE promoted and organized the INTENSIVE TAI CHI AND CHI KUNG COURSE, which was successfully held from 10th to 15th of August of 2010 in Viana do Castelo, one of the most interesting cities of Alto Minho. This region is known by their beautiful natural landscapes, where we can appreciate and enjoy the green of mountains, the blue of rivers, streams, as well of the sea. All this associated with an historical and traditional environment, since the surroundings are full of ancient stone houses, chapels and other monuments.

This course was simultaneously completed with "ALTO MINHO SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2010 PROGRAM", joining to Tai Chi and Chi Kung practice the development of several entertaining activities, as morning long walks in woods and lagoons, picnics by rivers and streams,Tai Chi practice by the Minho's river and on the top of Cervo's Hill, among others relaxing and amusing moments.

The Intensive Tai Chi - Chi Kung Summer 2010 Course had as aim two main aspects:

1. To develop new skills improve and consolidate previous ones;

2. To promote the physical and mental relaxation in a natural way, as a consequence of sightseeing and sociability moments


Next year CHINARTE will repeat this fabulous experience of Alto Minho Nature contact, which is undoubtedly truly healthy.
